Happy Valentines Day!

This year for Valentine's Day, Keira created handmade Valentines for ALL of her Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunties, and Uncles.  That may not be a lot for some kids, but Keira had to make 17 Valentines in all... It was hard work, but they turned out very cute!  We started by painting, coloring, and gluing pieces of construction paper and tissue paper onto white paper.  After it dried, I cut out hearts from her painted paper, and Keira helped me glue them on the cards.
Each card was different, but Daddy's card looked like this-
Then we wrote a Valentine's day message on the inside and Keira colored a special picture on most of the Valentines... she ran out of coloring patience near the end.  Keira's family loved their valentines, we were glad to spread some love for Valentine's Day!
Daddy loved his card.  We spent the day together, ate dinner, and enjoyed homemade Valentine's Day cookies Keira and I had made and frosted over the weekend.  She also took some cookies in to her friends at daycare, they ate them all up!

What a cheeseball!  Happy Valentine's Day!
