We had a great time at Christmas! Keira, Aunt Erin, and I drove up to Santa Maria early so we could take some time and see some friends. Keira and I had fun playdates with our friends Ryland and Jackson (and their Mommies Ashley and Laura) and Keira managed to get LOTS of spoiling and snuggling in from both sides of the family.
We started our Holiday at Grandma and Grandpa Spry's house, with Clam Chowder and present opening after Grandma got home from a 12 hour shift at the hospital- yuck! Keira was just starting to figure out the unwrapping thing, we figure it will be good practice for her birthday in February. Eventually, she gave up on the unwrapping and started playing with her new toys.
Even Dixie and Lola got in on the Christmas action- look how well they behave for their treats!
A new Elmo book- her favorite! She loves this new book, she turns the pages and finds Elmo on each page. Her Elmo obsession is a new thing, apparently they watch a half hour of Sesame Street at Daycare every morning, and Keira is gaga for Elmo. After opening some presents, it was time for bed...
...and Santa came the next morning! He brought Keira her very own Lion Sit and Play. She has one at Daycare, and it is the hottest toy there. She was so excited to push the Lion's nose and listen to the music.
...and had a great time at the park with her cousins!
Keira had a fabulous first Christmas, is was wonderful to see so many family members and friends. We are truly blessed!
