For Christmas this year, my Sisters and I went in together to buy my parents tickets to the Holiday Bowl. One of the small perks (for Erin and I) was that we got to go to the game as well. Keira got into the spirit, donning her Huskers Cheerleading uniform all day. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't go to the game, but had a great time at Lisa's house playing with her friend Tyler.
"Suuuuuuuuhh!!!"
Unfortunately, Erin and Brian had to work, so they couldn't meet us to tailgate, but we barbequed up some brats with sauerkraut and had a great time.
We even found some family members tailgating- my Great Aunt and Uncle and six of their kids
Erin and Brian earned their superfan status by battling traffic and parking issues, but finally made it to the game at halftime- just in time for the rain to really start. Hooray!
However, the game was lots of fun, especially because Nebraska shut out Arizona, winning the game 33-0. My Dad was in a fantastic mood, he got to yell "Suh!" one last time, and Nebraska looked better than they have in years. Go Big Red!
