Happy Thanksgiving!!

It was a very busy November for us!   We started out the month with a visit from Grandma Spry.  We went to Seaport Village with Grandma, Aunt Erin, and Uncle Brian.  Keira taught Uncle Brian and I a lesson about leaving cold drinks on a table.  Brian proved his love to Keira by not getting mad about the ice cold water soaking his lap.  Keira still feels just awful about it.

Before we knew it, I was on Thanksgiving Break for a week!  We started the week by meeting Keira's friend Gavin at Gymboree in Aliso Viejo to try out of first class.   Keira was a little young for the class, but she fit right in with the toddlers.  She loved popping the bubbles, climbing on the equipment, and listening to the instructor sing.  We'll have to visit another Gymboree again!

We finished out our day by going to Islands for lunch.  Dawn and I have been meeting in Orange County for lunch for YEARS... this was definitely the most stressful lunch we've had.  Keira HATES sitting in a high chair.  Ever since she discovered that she can move, she would prefer to be moving- always.  It does not make for fun, relaxing lunches.  They are more accurately described as shoving food down my throat and trying to keep her entertained.  I've heard it gets better when she gets older- we'll see.

Gavin was quiet and well behaved... we'll have to hang out some more with him so Keira can learn her manners!

We drove up to Santa Maria to spend Thanksgiving with the Arces.  There were 21 people home for the weekend, so we were NEVER without something to do!   Cousins Sonya and Christina wrote and performed a Thanksgiving play, starring Jeremy as the Native American, themselves as the Pilgrams, and Catherine as the Turkey, who was cooked at the end.  It was hilarious.

We also got in lots of fun family bonding time;

with Great Grammie...

cousins...

And lots of Aunties and Uncles!

The next day, James and I left Keira with Grandma Arce and went wine tasting with the other adults.  We had a great time- we're hoping to go again soon!

We found one winery with a giant chess board as their patio... James loved it, you may see it in our backyard someday.

On Saturday, the siblings had their annual "Arce Family Fun Day" where the boys go golfing, and the girls take a spa day and do .  It's always a great time, we can't wait until next year!

When we got home, we here happy that our friend Jackson could come over and play.  Keira is starting to play with people, so it was great to have him over and watch them interact. Her favorite part of the night- really, her favorite part of every night- was bathtime!  When she hears the bathwater start, she will drop whatever she is playing with and hightail it into the bathroom, squealing.  She LOVES bathtime!
