Keira's First Trip!

Keira and I traveled to Santa Maria to introduce her to our family and friends! We left San Diego at around 8:30 in the morning, and FINALLY arrived at Grandma and Grandpa Spry's house at 7:30 that night. It was certainly the longest trip to Santa Maria I've ever had. We had to make a few stops on the way, to see Aunties and Uncles, and to feed and change Keira. We stopped for lunch with Aunt Cyndi and Ben in Santa Monica, then had to stop again in Camarillo to feed Keira- (and a little shoe shopping for Mommy), and again in Santa Barbara to meet Uncle John, Aunt Catherine, and pick up Auntie Nicole. We were definitely tired by the time we arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Keira is starting to sleep longer stretches at night, which is good, because we had a busy week ahead of us!

We also spent time with Grandma and Grandpa Spry and Grandma and Grandpa Arce!
I was VERY excited to have sushi for the first time in a year- it was just as delicious as I remember, and we had a great time with Aunt Vicki, Auntie Nicole, and Great-Grammie
Uncle Vince was very excited to meet Keira, and she kept his shirt clean!
Grandpa Spry was on a mission to see Keira's first smile... she's ALMOST there- you can see the smile in her eyes, we're working on seeing it on her mouth! She did give Grandma Spry and I a little smile one morning when she woke up, we loved it an hoped to see some more!

We had a VERY busy week, but we had a great time meeting so many family members. It was a good warm up for her Welcome Baby Party we had on Saturday. We missed Daddy, but he was busy in San Diego, working and tearing out Keira's bathroom. We'll see him at the big party on Saturday!
