Save our Schools!

Heading into my FOURTH year of layoff notices in five years, I was so proud of my sweet little picketer.  Keira became quite adept at protesting education layoffs.  She actually began to think that I worked at our district offices, and my job was protesting.  She'd tell people she went to work with me, and we hold the signs, and we yell "save our schools!" at the cars.  Luckily, all ended well for us, and I'm hoping that one day we won't have to protest to save my job!
